Lakshmi Stotram - 4

श्रुत्यन्तार्यै रचितमतुलं स्तोत्रमेवात्र लक्ष्म्या: श्रीस्तुत्याख्यं सुरपतिकुले राजते शेषतीर्थे ।

ब्राह्मण्यै तै र्विरचितमिदं सर्वलोकानुकामान् पूर्णान्कर्तुं परिणयविधौ पद्मवर्णाप्रसादात् ।।४।।

Swami Desiokan (One Great Acharya of Ramanuja Sampradaya, who has authored 108 works including one Mahakavya - Yadavabhyudayam, Sandesha Kavyam -Hamsa Sandesham) by the grace of Goddess Lakshmi composed Shri Stuti at Aheendrapuram (a village where he spent most of his life time). That Stotram is still recited in the temple of Shri Devanatha Svamy where one Punya Tirtha by name Shesha Tirtha is also there. He composed this unparalleled stotra to help a Brahmin lady to come over her poverty and to manage the marriage of her daughter. After hearing this stotra Goddess Lakshmi showered golden rain. This stotra fulfills desires of all people.

स्वामी वेदान्त देशिक नामक एक महाकवि ने लक्ष्मी की अनुकम्पा से श्रीस्तुति नामक एक स्तोत्र की रचना की । यह स्तोत्र वे अपने जीवन के अधिकांश समय यापन करनेवाले गावं मे श्रीदेवनाथस्वामी देवालय में जहां शेषतीर्थ नामक एक पुण्य तीर्थ भी है वहां की थी । और इस की रचना एक निर्धन ब्राह्मणी के मदद के लिए की गयी थी । इस स्तोत्र की रचना से प्रसन्न होकर लक्ष्मी स्वर्ण की वर्षा की । ऐसी लक्ष्मी को मेरा प्रणाम हो ॥
