Lakshmi Stuti - 7

नाम्ना तावद् यतिपतिमतं श्रीहरेरेव साक्षाद् अस्येशाना जगत इति ते सिद्धिरप्यस्ति वेदे ।

पत्युस्स्वान्ते निवसति सदा विष्णुपत्नीति वित्ता चित्रं चेदं नरकृतिरियं स्त्रीक्रिया नैव चोक्ता ।।७।।

By name the philosophy of Bhagavan Ramanuja (Yatipati) is known as Shrivaishnavam, that is named after You O Lakshmi. Further, Veda says that You are the Goddess of this Earth. And You reside in the heart of the Vishnu, so that known as Vishnupatni. Even though, the recommendaion you make on behalf of devotees for Liberation (Moksha) is known as Purashakara (in Ramanuja Philosophy) and not as Streekara. This is a surprising thing!!!

हे लक्ष्मि, रामानुजसम्प्रदाय आप ही के नाम से विदित है श्रीवैष्णवम् इति । और वेद घोषित करता है कि आप ही इस जगत की ईशाना है । आप भगवान् विष्णु के हृदय में रहकर विष्णुपत्नी के नाम से भी जानी जाती है । फिर भी आप जो मदद करती है भक्तों की मुक्ति के सन्दर्भ में उसे स्त्रीकार न कहकर पुरुषकार क्यों कहते हैं यह आश्चर्य का विषय है ॥
